Online shopping

Hello! I'm grandma Bess.

This is my granddaughter. She has a birthday. I want to give her a gift, but I can't go to any shops. But there is online shopping, called "webshop".

Sally: Online shopping is a form of electronic commerce, which allows consumers to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the internet using a web browser. Webshop is the place where all these goods can be seen and purchased. Just choose an item, like a shirt, a plate or toys, drop them to the shopping cart and order them by pushing a button on the screen.

Grandma Bess: That's great!

With my smartphone or home computer I can buy anything I want! When bought something in a webshop, all items will be delivered to my home. So easy goes it to give a birthday gift to my granddaughter! In the next part I'll show you how to select items in the webshop.
